Social Media and Real Food #IansVsBombers
AJ Bombers Challenges Ian's Pizza at Madison Grand Opening
On January 28th two Champions faced each other in a friendly competition. In the red corner AJ Bombers, the Milwaukee Food Wars Champion for Best Burger and newest addition to the downtown Madison dining scene. In the black corner Ians Pizza on State, named Wisconsin's Best Pizza by Food Network Magazine.
To celebrate the grand opening of AJ Bombers second and newest location in beautiful downtown Madison they invited a local competitor and fellow social media savvy food retailer to throw down in a friendly competition that you had to taste to believe. With 5 rounds of samples including tributes to each others menus guests were treated to some of the best food Madison has to offer.
AJ Bombers Director of Marketing Jaron Klopstein, and Adam May, Director of Marketing for Ian's Pizza on State will discuss what went in to planning, organizing and executing this event and how they used social media to do it all.
They will discuss the tools they used, how they got their staffs involved, how they managed their message and of course who they think won the throwdown.

Social Media Breakfast Madison
The Social Media Breakfast Madison was started in 2009 by Wendy Soucie and Marivic Valencia. We operate with 5-6 managers and try to keep our events free with generous sponsors who provide food, facilities and speakers.
SMBMadison is part of a national organization founded by Bryan Person in August 2007 as an event where social media experts and newbies alike come together to eat, meet, share, and learn. Marketers, PR pros, entrepreneurs, bloggers, podcasters, new-media fanatics, and online social networkers are all welcome to attend.
The breakfast series began in Boston and has now spread to 40 cities throughout the United States and around the world.
